Umm I just got very excited for Light Asylum’s self-titled debut album. Oh I did. Lead single “Shallow Tears” is fucking great. You want drums? Oh this duo has got them! You want androgynous vocals that will make you eargasm? Oh Shannon Funchess’ has got them pipes! Seriously May 1st at this point seems way too far away because I need this LP blasting my eardrums right now! For fans of the cocktail that is Zola Jesus meets The Cure meets Joy Division. This is a must keep on repeat track.
